Heavens, I just (accidently and on purpose) read everyone's bio and then I remembered I was going to go to bed early tonight! What can I say? You are an impressive group.

I graduated from UC Santa Cruz and moved to San Francisco where I worked in the banking industry and met my future (ex) husband. After about a dozen years, I convinced him KC was where it was at and we moved to Brookside. I went back to school and received a master in ed. Taught in KC MO for 6 years and have found myself engaged in various local and national urban education reform movements.  I have 2 adorable boys (Russell 4 and Alexander 2).

Does anyone else feel so lucky that they dare not utter why they feel lucky so as to not jinx the entire situation? Well that's me! I have been married to my lovely wife for 9 years and we have 3 boys, William (4), Jake & Hunter (16 mos.). We moved back to Denver, CO a couple of years ago, after living in KC for 3 years. I miss KC a lot, but the good thing is my wife knows enough about my high school friends to know who to avoid at the reunion. I have stayed at home with the boys since my oldest was little and surprisingly it has worked out fabulously. We have a great life filled with supportive and fun friends and family, including several SME grads. I look forward to spending time with friends that I unfortunately don't see that often, and renewing old friendships.

My husband Chris Monks (a writer/editor), son Sam (7), son Noah (5), and I live happily outside Boston. I am a Humanities/Special Education teacher and the Academic Dean of Boston Arts Academy, the high school for the visual and performing arts for the Boston Public Schools. I helped start the school 10 years ago, and I think about high school every day--just not ours! I am grateful for the opportunity to reconnect with all of you and am specifically grateful to Jennifer Boresow Burns for putting the time and effort into our reunion. Although my parents still live in KC, I don't come home often. And although I am too old for Facebook, I am on Facebook, so look for me there. Otherwise, I hope to make it next June. Living in Phoenix, AZ for past 4 years. I was in Chicago before that to live out my 20's. I'm married to a college love I met at KU, Dave. We have an 18 month old son, Henry. I love my work as a hospice RN---truly my calling. Traveling is important to me. I'll be in the south of France when the reunion is happening. I'm sad I'll miss the festivities and seeing everyone. So cool to catch up on what everybody is doing.  Thanks to Jennifer and all who are organizing the reunion.

After finishing college at BYU, I took a job in San Francisco as an IT consultant and got married.  After about 4 years, quit working to go back to school to get an MBA from Harvard.  After two years in Boston, moved back to California (Santa Monica 1.5 years and Walnut Creek/Bay Area 5 years) while working for a strategy consulting firm.  As a consultant, somehow became an expert in managed health care operations and finance, so when it was time to leave consulting to spend more time with my kids, (and leave California for a more sane cost of living), took a job as an executive for a managed health care company in Phoenix.

I've been married to Andrea for 13 years and we have 3 cute little daughters, Susannah (9), Caroline (6) and Julia (3).

Looking forward to seeing everybody in KC!

Hey All...Time has flown by since '89!  I have moved up Mission Road just a bit to 157th Street...
I married Geste 17 years ago ~ went to both proms with him and we have 4 great kids!!  I am in my first year of teaching at Kansas City Christian School with 3rd graders.  I love it...
Geste owns a hardwood floor company ~ has done that since we were married.  So, yes, our home has all hardwood!  I helped him with his company while staying home with our 4 little ones, but now that they are all in school (at KCCS as well) I am now teaching.
We love the south and often think about making a move...
