Hi all- 
Happily married to Tim Callahan (SME '89).  We have 5 children. We have 4 boys and one girl. Kendell -12, Sarah-9, Ryan-7, Brett-4, and Brady - 3mo. We live in Overland Park in the BVNW high school area.  I stay at home with the kids and Tim is the plant controller for Certainteed Insulation. I married a Longhorn sportswriter after moving to Austin, Texas for my first newspaper job in 1993. After 15 years in the business and a move to Fort Worth, we have both made career changes because of the failing newspaper industry. I am now a graphic designer at Pier 1 Imports and my husband is a high school history teacher/tennis coach. We have a precocious 6-year-old daughter who just started kindergarten. After school I tried doing the whole college thing and it didn't work too well. So I worked a lot and then after leaving a dead end job I decided to go back to school and get my teaching degree. My only regret is that I didn't do this 18 years ago. I am a junior in college now and I have made every honor roll but the President's Honor Roll. I have 2 kids, one step and one of my own.
