Cliffnotes on the past 20 years... I moved to Colorado in 1993 and have been here ever since.I had no idea so many of you followed me! I live with my boyfriend John and our four legged children. We love living in Colorado and everything it offers. We also love to travel and do so as much as we can. I'm still not sure what I want to do when I grow up but have tried many things...Real Estate, selling and buying...(current slum lord), Education(attended many schools and taught for the CPP) Bar& Restaurant Management(managed to work in them and drink in them) ETC.... It's been fun learning about your lives, strong work folks. Unfortunately, I cannot make the reunion, try to have fun without me.....no pressure!

Ok, gotta do this if Therou (and no, you were not the only one!) and Defeo finally did their profiles  (-;...lol. This is a great site and I have had fun reading everyone's life updates.  Kudos to the creators and committee members for all of your time and effort on this reunion project.   Since the last reunion... I just celebrated 8 great years with my husband, Mike.  We live in Tucson.  We have 3 wonderful kids, Rachel (6) just finished 1st grade, Hannah (4) will start kinder this fall and Mike (2).  All have summer birthdays so their ages will soon change.  Rachel and Mikey actually share a birthday at the end of August. They are tons of fun and definitely keep us busy!   I have been a Flight Attendant, currently with American Airlines, for 15 years.  I began flying just after graduating from K-State.  I don't fly too much anymore, just enough to keep my travel benefits. I started my own photography business about 2 years ago after working with another photographer for a couple of years. That has been a lot of fun.  I do weddings, parties/events, families and children on location. I may bring my camera to the festivities, haven't decided...Got my real estate license as well in all of my spare time to find us a bigger house.  The hunt continues. The majority of the time I am a stay at home Mom/Taxi/Cook,Volunteer, etc...and it is all good.  I am still running, no more marathons to date. We do like to travel and do so often. Mike and I recently returned from a trip to Europe without the kids.  It was a blast!  The kids and I go on lots of mini trips to visit family and friends. Unfortunately, they will not be able to go with me to KC.  I will be there though and look forward to seeing everyone.

After graduating with a BFA from Miami of Ohio, I came back to Kansas City to work in design and advertising. I met my future husband, a funny and sharp writer/Creative Director with a great last name at work. After 8 years of working the system, I went off on my own and did a little design and illustration, was a personal chef, and was commissioned for a few portraits of children. Babies soon followed and I found it just easier to chuck it all and concentrate on playdates and carpools and the simple life.

John and I have been married 9 years and have Jack, a Kindergartner, Joey, a preschooler and Molly Kate, a terrible and terrific red-headed 2-year-old. We've jumped the JoCo ship and live in Brookside and send the kids to St. Peter's. In our spare time we enjoy putzing around in our
way-too-large-for-as-much-time-as-we-have perennial garden, cruising around Table Rock Lake on an old pontoon boat and during the month of October, we transform our front yard into "The Sweeney Family Horror" which attracts 100s of scare seekers from all over.

It's hard to believe that in a week, I'll load up the minivan and roadtrip alone for 10 hours with my 3 kids to Kansas City for reunion. Needless to say, I will probably have a drink in hand when I see you Friday night.

I am living in Cincinnati (as I have been for 11 years). I am currently on maternity leave, but I plan to return to my marketing job at Procter & Gamble when Jenna turns 1. Since neither my job nor my location has changed since the last reunion, I'll give you an update on what's new: I just celebrated my 8-year anniversary with my husband Greg. We met at the horse races in Kentucky while tailgating (he had fried chicken, and we had mixed drinks -- a match made in heaven). We have 3 kids, ages 5, 3, and 8 mos. Needless to say, our home is generally a place of chaos and insanity, but we're having a great time together. Can't wait to see everyone!

Wow, 20 yrs ago I was cruisin in my MG, smoking, looking for the party on the weekend (c'mon - I KNOW I wasn't the only one!) ... these days I drive a sweet mini-van, no longer smoke (ok, only VERY rarely & only with the right, or possibly wrong, people) & savor the rare weekend with nothing to do. Funny thing is, aside from the bills & responsibility, I find being a grown-up is actually fun! The best part is my 2 awesome kids, Alec (7) & Sydney (6) - & my husband, another former Lancer, Alan Heriford.

My early years after HS were fun, but kind of aimless. I eventually decided that finishing college was a good idea & graduated from KU with a degree in Health Information Management. I've worked for the same pharmaceutical research firm for almost 10 yrs now. We haven't strayed far from the KC area but have crossed the border & are now living on the MO side, which is great except for the roads & the tiger fans.

It's really fun seeing what everyone's been up to.  Thanks to the committee for all of your work!

Time flies when your having fun...20 years...wow!  After SME, I headed to Wildcat Country and got my degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from K-State.  I never guessed that I would end up in the world of catering.  I was the Catering Manager at The Kansas City Club for a few years, then became General Manager at Figlio Tower on the Plaza.  After planning more wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners than I can count, I left Figlio Tower last year to spend more time with my family.  I now work part time for KC Masterpiece and Baja 600...we're getting ready to open up two new restaurants this summer, so the part time will probably become fulll time again. 

I've been married to Mike (reigning belly flop champion of Fairway Pool) for almost 9 years.  We have two adorable daughters.  Lucy is 5 and will start Kindergarten at Prairie in the Fall (third generation Prairie Panther!!!) and Molly is 16 months.  Both keep us busy and laughing ALOT!!!  We live behind Indian Hills Middle School...yes, just two blocks from the house I grew up in.  I just can't take myself out of the PV 'hood.

I am the proud father of two girls, Ava (5 11/12th!) and Lauren (3 1/4), and the lucky husband of Ansara.  The two of us met in Honduras shortly after college, she as a peace corps volunteer and I, a fish farmer.  We lived in Chicago and Philadelphia before settling in Charleston, SC.  Three years ago we moved back to Prairie Village and have had an excitement filled time here.  Days after the reunion, we'll head back to Charleston, and the company we own there, but we'll be back often to KC.  Looking forward to swapping stories and memories--hope one weekend is enough.
