We've lived in Chicago, Omaha, Dallas, and have finally moved back to the area. Glad to be home! We have 2 kids - ages 3 and 5 - who happily keep me busy and running most of the time. But here it is Kerry! Ha ha! So, I married former SME Lancer, my wonderful and perfect husband, (yes, some changes were made following my husband proof reading this) Mike Worley, and we have been married for 14 years. We have 3 beautiful and ornery little boys. Our oldest, Jake, is 9, and our twins, Tyler and Cooper are about to turn 8. We live in Olathe, Kansas with our equally beautiful and ornery brown dog, Luke. Mike works for a small company doing something with cell phones, I’ve asked for a simple description of his job repeatedly, but it always turns into a bunch of acronyms that mean nothing to me, but he is happy, and as a result, our family is as well. I have been plugging away at school, working towards a degree in elementary education. I currently work at my children’s school in the reading intervention program. I will begin student teaching there in January of 2010. I’m so glad I finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up! My children all made the decision to be baptized last November, so I feel confident that I am doing something right in my challenging role as a parent. I love being a mom, and I am so motivated to do my best and succeed in all that I do, to show my children the possibilities in life. I look forward to seeing you all at the reunion. Thanks to all who have worked so hard to bring us together again!! |

We have 8 children (4 girls Sydney 8, Anna 7, Taylor 6, Ryan 5 and 4 boys Daniel 3, Matthew 2 and Thomas 1, and Andrew (7 weeks). I taught for 5 years at Westridge Middle School in the SM School District. We were in Virginia for 4 years and St. Louis for 2. Currently we live in the East District and I obviously stay at home. I could still use some of that toilet paper we used so much of in high school (with all these kids!). I can't wait for the reunion! It is going to be so much fun. After graduating from KU with a degree in advertising, I stuck around in KC for 6 years working in marketing and advertising but got drawn into the world of design for the information superhighway. I moved with my now-husband Alp out to the San Francisco Bay Area in early 2000 and began working in the crazy dot-com era for a mobile solutions company as a UI designer. Got laid off like everyone else, then spent 6.5 years at Yahoo! working on Yahoo! Autos and Yahoo! Real Estate. I recently left there and started at Move.com (online real estate). Alp and I have two fabulous boys, Aydin (almost 6) and Aaron (3.5). Even though my husband is Turkish, my genes prevailed and the kids look exactly like me :-) I'm ridiculously excited for the reunion and can't wait to see everyone again after 20 freakin' years! |
